6/11/24 Quick Update:

This is to inform you that works to improve the surface of Church Farm track will be taking place over 3 days from Wednesday 6th November to Friday 8th November weather permitting. If it is raining, the work may be delayed.

Any changes to the work schedule will be published on the homepage of the Stadhampton Parish Council at www.stadhampton-pc.gov.uk and a Facebook post will be added at www.facebook.com/StadhamptonPC please sign up to “follow” the Facebook page to get any post automatically.

The contractors on site will be from Hazell and Jefferies (road construction and surfacing contractors) and the work includes:

  • To scarify/recompact the existing surface
  • To supply, lay and compact road planings
  • Surface dress the area twice with hot tar and chip on Friday.

I am sorry for the short notice and inconvenience this will cause your household, visitors and groups using the church/village hall, but I hope that you will feel the benefits once the work is completed. Please can you ensure that no cars are parked on the green area in front of the church from the B480 up to Church Farm House between 6-8th November?

Thank you for your patience while the works are being undertaken, your co-operation to help make this happen and facilitate the contractors would make a big difference. I hope you will be able to share this information to anyone who may be affected by the works, thank you,
